Prime Energy Resources Development B.V. (Prime Energy) recently named Donnabel Kuizon Cruz as Managing Director and General Manager.
Prime Energy is a subsidiary of Enrique Razon Jr.’s Prime Infrastructure Capital, Inc. and Operator of the Malampaya Deep Water Gas to Power Project under Service Contract No. 38 (SC 38).
Cruz assumes the role of Sebastian C. Quiniones, Jr. who will continue to serve as Senior Advisor, Member of the Advisory Council, and Director in the Prime Energy Board. “Donna has led teams that delivered significant value to the portfolio, and her people-centered leadership style make her ideal for the leadership role. We look forward to a sustainable gas infrastructure for our country, and I am sure she will secure our long-term future for Prime Energy under her leadership,” said Quiniones.
Prior to this appointment, Cruz was Prime Energy’s Deputy General Manager and Business Opportunity Manager, leading the delivery of key growth projects for the SC 38 Consortium .
Cruz previously held various positions at Shell including at Shell Philippines Exploration B.V. (SPEX) and Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation. She also brings expertise from her experience abroad, which include Shell Upstream and Shell Global Solutions in Malaysia, and Shell International Exploration and Production (SIEP) in The Netherlands.
One of her notable achievements was the revival and facilitation of the refresh of the Philippines upstream strategy in the greater Palawan area and near field exploration while working at SIEP. She was also instrumental in achieving Goal Zero during the execution of Malampaya Phase 3 (Depletion Compression Project) completed in 2015.

Cruz added that she is excited to bring in her global expertise to Prime Energy, a company which envisions nation-building through the provision of cleaner energy and through corporate actions for the betterment of the country and its natural resources.
Cruz graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at the University of Santo Tomas, and was a topnotcher of the 2000 Philippine Chemistry Board Exams.
