Puerto Princessa, Palawan — Malampaya Foundation’s (MFI’s) first set of Bridging Employment through Skills Training (BEST) vocational scholars in scaffolding in Palawan graduated yesterday during the annual Paskuhan sa Palawan celebration of the Malampaya joint venture partners.

A total of fifty-nine (59) scholars completed the technical skills training at the Technical Development and Career Enhancement Center, supplemented with modules in english proficiency at the Puerto Princesa School of Arts and Trade and MFI’s personal excellence and values formation workshops.

 

 

The program and its trainings target out-of-school youths and indigents and prepares them for employment in industries domestically and internationally. BEST program started in 2007 and was introduced in Palawan in 2012.
