The COVID19 lockdown has affected the local bantay dagats (sea rangers) and national park rangers’ alternative means of livelihood in tourism, retail trade and other forms of enterprise, hence the need to provide support so they can continue safeguarding marine life in municipal waters.

Deputized fisherfolk bantay dagats as well as national park rangers in Palawan, Oriental Mindoro and Batangas City each received a sack of rice, fresh meats & produce from local farmers and processed food.
